"DNF Galen" is only marginally more likely to race events he enters than events he doesn't.
Look at last season. And the season before that. And before that. In fact, has he ever gone a season as a pro WIHOUT scratching a race? Doubt it. But then, he's never won a major race either.
Get some new material. Your act is both stale and contrived.

I think this above all is what is drawing NOP to BU. IMO 3 seconds faster per mile than your average 200m banked track. Being an east coaster, I know so many people that run stupid fast at BU and never replicate it anywhere else. Multiple 4:02 guys that never crack 4:05 at other tracks. My friends and I have been talking about this for years.

I've run 4 races on that track, I can confirm this - my two fastest mile times and 5K PR were all run there. The turns are so bouncy, you don't even feel like you're running on them.
If Cain is running the 1k, the 31 years old American Junior Record is 2:40.1 (according to USATF). Hard challenge for Mary Cain: by rule of thumb this equates to 2:01.3 800m, or, 4:09.8 1500m.
Likewise the AJR in the 800m is 2:01.8 set by Mary Decker in 1974. It's possible that Ajee and Mary could each get this in the same race (but that's a challenging time as well indoors).
The indoor records at 1k and 800 are not quite as soft as the old 1500m record of 4:18.9 that Cain broke last year (en route in the mile).
But Ajee won't have the American junior indoor record in the 800m because she'll turn 20 in 2014, so Mary Cain will have that record.

Why? 3:49 indoors is a much better performance
