Are you sure, California is 10 hours behind Greece so I believe California is 12:35pm
FYI - On the east coast today they cut away from the Olympic coverage at EXACTLY 4pm. Don't be surprised if that happens tomorrow, lets hope not!
We're happy to be bringing you the finals of the 10000 meters event for the first time in our history!
The runners are coming around with 2 laps to go.
Three Ethiopians in the lead, pursued closely by two Kenyans.
The Kenyans are closely in pursuit and not giving up!!
There's a big move as the race is going into the 24th lap.... wow look at them move!!!
Join us tonight at 11pm for the conclusion of this thrilling race.
2:35am in BANGKOK!!!!
I will be up all night watching it.
Oh this is going to be interesting. Nasty emails could be flying out at 4:01 PM tomorrow. Most listings say they are alloting exactly 25 minutes for the live race on NBC (Yahoo still has it at 3:50 ET). hmmmm. Cut to Oprah at 4pm and there will be problems....
Do you guys seriously think they are going to cut away in the middle of the race? This is the Olympics. They won't cut away.
no, this is the NBC. They are bigger than the Olympics.
and Oprah is bigger than both. But hope it doesn't happen...

Subject to change; times are local Athens times
Friday, August 20
7:35pm 1500m men 1st round (Alan Webb, Charlie Gruber and Grant Robison)
10:35pm 10,000m men final (Abdi Abdirahman, Dan Browne and Dathan Ritzenhein)
11:15pm 5000m women 1st round (Shayne Culpepper, Marla Runyan and Shalane Flanagan)
My local NBC channel says 3:35pm. I think they delay the coverage for the West coast and show the whole block from the East coast but a few hours later. Go to NBCOlympics.com and click on the 'localize' button at the bottom of the page.
Looks like no 1500 trial heat coverage, at least not listed anywhere. I would love to set my TIVO but not sure where to do it, maybe they will cover Webb in the primetime stuff.
Anyone know anything about the 1500 heats being covered? I also got a DVD recorder, so can put 10K on DVD!

Just to throw a monkey wrench into everything, USATF had a press release yesterday and they listed the men's 10,000 final at 10:50 PM Athens time.
