Agreed. It is possible to run 12:57 pace and throw down a 53 second last lap.
If they make the 10k sub 27 and the 5k sub 13 they might be able to take a little sting out of that kick. This combined with team tactics and a fresh Alamirew gives them a chance.
If you remember Farah was very tired after the 10k in London and said he felt it in the 5k. That right there is their chance. Try to kill him in the 10k with four men who are willing to make him push harder than he ever has before. After than bring in a different 3 guys who are willing to do the same. He can't be perfect every time and they could make him crack.
It has to be Mo against Ethiopia's top 7 guys and they have to make his life a living hell on the track. They can never let him feel comfortable during a single lap of the 50 laps he will have to navigate to win double gold.
