Alamirew had an impressive and easy sprint at the end.. but it will not be enough to beat mo farah. Gebrehiwet is the worst racer ever. He thinks he can out kick someone that has out kicked him and he did not push the pace. unless new tactics are employed mo farah will win the 5000 ... and maybe even the 10000 .... it would have been good to see what gebremeskel can do in the 5000 but he did not show up in the lausanne.
I still like my plan for beating Mo. Just like the olympics take it out at an absurdly slow pace, which they did 75+. Of course Mo goes straight to the back then with eleven laps to go the three ethiopians up near the front work hard together to hit sub 12:40 pace, which should be doable for 11 laps. if they did this in the olympics they would have had about a 30 meter lead on Mo. He would have to do alot of work to move upthrough the field and make up ground while the ethiopians work together and set up their strongest runner for the kick

alamirew only kicked at 150 and still run 54.. i dont see him producing 52

that makes sense. I was thinking Hagos and Yenew were tired, but they never tried to contact the rabbits, only Tariku did.
TB tired to make the team. The others were doing what they needed to stay on the team.
I believe that the one man on the planet who could take on Farah (assuming he is in top shape) is Gebremeskel. Watching him over the past couple of years, he's become my favorite athlete, and if he learned to become the tactician that Farah is he'd be unstoppable. Alamirew is good, but I don't know if he can kick with Farah from 300 out if he's not in a great position. Gebrehiwet needs a few years of experience before I can say whether he is the real deal/can win a championship, but if Gebremeskel got to the line in top form and ran a smart race he could challenge Farah now. Too bad he's probably running the 10000.

Absolutely right. Alamirew's had enough looks at Farah this season to prepare and he has shown growth since his 3rd @ the Pre Classic. On paper, he's looking like Mo's main challenge.
The greatest threat will come from:
Gembremskel in the 10000m.
5000, will be a close one, alamirew is running great this year, but Hagos has only been running worse and worse.
Began with 7:30 3k and, each 5k he has run, was worse than the one before.
Mo Farah, will probably win the gold in the 10k, but the 5k will be harder, if the ethiopians work together.

blood passport has kicked in and we getting more realistic displays from the EAs

That seems awfully harsh considering the kid is so young. He'll figure out what works for him soon enough and watch out when he does and ages a couple more years.

They can only beat Mo if they do a sub 12.45 pace. 53 sec last lap in birmingham, only bekele at his best could do that.
rather Mo will face stiff challenge for 10k. 5k either soi and alamerew give Mo tough time . still Mo will take gold for 5k but 10k no way
