Afaik Shvetsov is involved in the training of a number of Olympic marathoners, including Polish 2:07 sensation Hendryk Szost.

I am not sure that we are finished with Dirty Baranov , although while his people seem to be getting caught Makke's are not

I think the never ending list of drugs cases in cycling teaches one lesson: it is not enough to ban athletes; as long as the teams can put pressure on riders to dope (implicitly or explicitly) but suffer no loss when one of their own riders is exposed, they have no real incentive to stop the practice.

By the same logic, agents and coaches turn a blind eye on doping, or even encourage it, as long as they have nothing to lose: let an athlete dope and share the rewards if he or she wins, and distance yourself if he or she gets exposed.

Let there be official and public records of contracts between athletes and coaches, and athletes forbidden to pay anyone else for their services - an individual "white list" of names replacing the current universal "black list" of banned coaches. Then, let every coach share any ban handed to each of their athletes - except in cases where the offence is exposed as a result of a report by the coach.

In a similar way, require sponsors to to put their sponsorship of athletes on record, and require them to pay a penalty if an athlete whom they endorse is exposed. It is too easy to bask in the glory of a doped athlete, and to simply "drop" an endorsement when the cheating is exposed. The current sponsorship model puts too much pressure on athletes to succeed, and too little pressure to compete clean.

None of the proposals require any information about the two parties that is not already in the public domain. It won't be enough to stop the problem, but it will be a start.

Which would make sense considering her suspension began in October.

She certainly was scheduled to run NYC at one point. SHe's the second athlete listed on page 82 of the media guide which I got at the race.

Maybe they told her she was banned a tiny bit ahead of time?

So many of people listed can be linked with athletes

managers and certain practices in eastern europe and Balkan states , they are all gathering this week in Istanbul and Athens , smoke and mirrors like 2/3 years ago in Cycling , but will anyone have balls to blow it out of the water , doubtfull , also anyone know why Baranov split

with Makke ?? without being cynical every story has 2 sides

Baranov figured out what to do and how to cheat, He speaks Russian and English and none of the Russians speak English so it was easy for him to take them away by himself. Probably figured why would he work for someone else when he can do it by himself.
