Running from the back as he did shows he still has a ways to go in understanding international class racing. He needs to stick his nose in it a tad more , put himself in position , to at least compete. View the race you will see.
He has been running as miler to date , lets see if he make the shift up as you say. Is he a sub 13 minute guy ?
All said this is great experience for him to be racing at this level in Europe , bodes well for his future.
