Quick search finds the half life for ephedrine is something like 4 hours and of course you only have to get back down to below 10 micrograms per ml (in urine sample) not zero, so if he was tested at the Lignano track after his race perhaps, that's how many hours?

I wonder if Rodgers or someone on his behalf has suggested he took this on board 2 days before the meet because it's only banned 'in-competition'. Out of competition you can guzzle as much of it as you want. That's a confused situation.
