There were 5 cop cars in front of the place. Turns out a woman had driven up, and then ordered something...and passed out...either drunk or someone had given her the date rape drug and it had just hit her.
I'd still vote for anyplace in Montana being the most boring.

Helena is a beautiful town and safe....unlike meth infested Oregon.

Hinesville, Georgia is the most boring place. And its boredom is insidious because people actually inhabit the place. The city's motto 'Home for a day or a lifetime' is appropriate because a day feels like a lifetime especially in summer.
I'm guessing the author bases much of his opinion on the relative availability of alcohol in those towns. Don't Kansas and Oklahoma have "dry laws" on the books still?

90% of the towns in South Carolina are less interesting than the most boring square foot of sod in Kansas, Nebraska or Oklahoma, or any other state in the U.S. And I'm being conservative with the 90% figure.

All of those Kansas towns are undoubtedly boring as hell, although it IS a bullshit list, biased and too narrow. While Hutch is a boring town, don't misinterpret the previous comment on the Cosmosphere. It's an awesome place and definitely worth checking out if (and ONLY if) you're in the area!

I went on a business trip to Wichita. Was curious about it, having grown up as a JRyun fan. Ok, I was there in winter, but still--grey, flat, boring, charmless--and for a "big city" it had dull, chain restaurants, crummy hotels. People there probably are nice, and they have a great running tradition, but if I was a young kid, I would be out of there the minute I could.
Look, all over the USA, there are "towns" of less than 500 people that maybe have a place to buy cigarettes and beer and that's it...not even anywhere to RINK the beer except back at your trailer or shack. Those places are more boring than anyplace on that list.
I mean, what about some of those little New York State towns up by the Canadian border? no, I don't mean Buffalo...the really little ones, closer to Vermont.
Moore Oklahoma is by far the most boring and worst town in america to live in.
Moore Oklahoma has more police officers than it has citizens. They have the highest police density in the country, more than new york city and l.a. combined. Very very stupid and unncessary. 90% of the citys g.d.p. index comes from traffic tickets. Its gotten so stupid, that even hometown legend Toby Keith refuses to do business there. Moore Lions football, which was once televised on espn for its rivalvy with WestMoore highschool, hasnt even won a game in 4 years. The average age of a moore citizen is 61 years old. Grass in this town must be kept at inch. Town curfew is at 9pm. cars must be parked neatly in driveway. house must be painted a plain christian color with no rust.
Moore is also widely known as the most conservatown town in the United States. With a population of close to 94,000 people, on 7 people voted for barack obama in 2008. You will be arrested in moore oklahoma just for being non-white or non-baptist. STAY AWAY FROM MOORE.

Hey Duck, thanks for your in depth review of the Macdonald's next to the highway at 1 AM, which is identical in every town and city in America.
I must add. I have driven across the country several times and been to probably 45 states. And the Central Valley of California must have some towns in the running. Drive down 5 or 99, say between Sac. and the grapevine, and get off any secondary route and you will find some contenders. Zero charm, awful weather that would make you not want to be outside, and absolutely nothing going on. What the f*ck would you do??
I'd rather live in one of those towns the OP threw out there.

Well, literally, yes, but Boring, OR is far from it. Nice scenery, gateway to the Mt Hood Ski stuff and heck there's a Hood-to-Coast changeover right there by the Fred Meyer parking lot.
