Gala, Fuji, Macintosh. Honey crisp are pretty good too. I can eat Granny Smith when I'm in the right mood, but it's not my usual first choice.
I HATE red delicious. Although reasonably tasty, a good apple needs to be crunchy!
Perfect apple is pretty sweet but also a little tart, and has a good solid crunch.
I'm not a fan of apples but I do like the honeycrisp. They are more expensive but what bugs me is they are huge, like 2 1/2 times bigger than a normal apple. It makes me think I'm eating nothing but chemicals.

Ambrosia apples are a lesser known variety, but they're the best I've ever had.
