You put him on the track with solid training and he'll produce results. He has yet to prove otherwise.
That is why I am excited for this guy once he goes to the pros. He can be the first non-african under 12:50 for 5k.
I'm a big German fan but don't put the injuries and anemia on the coach. German was an idiot when it came to the anemia thing, plain and simple. He can be more injury prone, that has nothing to do with his coach. Just the way he is. One of Solinsky's biggest attributes as a runner is that he can pound out the training and not get injured. Fernandez does not have that attribute.
