Football is boring as shit.
Too many rules and time outs.

That's why the sb is the most fun/bearable. The commercials are funny.
And now we know why runners are often called effeminate and little girly boys. Oh well..........
Is there a government ad this year? If so I will watch that since I paid for it, or rather my grandkids if I ever get any.
Last year we had a preposterously bad census ad, and before that W's brain-dead 'anti drug' ads. How about an ad from the Dept of Health warning about the ruinous effect of football on health & well-being?
I'm watching for the off-chance that I might get to see a tit.
Why are you claiming that I'm pretentious and think I'm better than people who watch it? I didn't say any such thing and I don't even believe any such thing. I wish I did care. Life would be easier. I was just answering the OP's question. Jeez.
The biggest thing about the Superbowl is that there are parties for people watching the Superbowl. I believe those who are not watching are pathetic losers who were not invited to any parties. If they were invited and are not going to go, I'm going to assume they do not like women. It's about the only chance they have of impressing women and making women think they are actually manly instead of little wimpy boys. Go to a party and watch the Superbowl little boys.
Some people already have women, son.
You go to Super Bowl parties to try to impress women? Now that's pathetic. You need to get some real skills my man.
It's a good excuse to fry up some chicken wings and drink beer on a Sunday night. That being said I will certainly not be watching the halftime show. I don't need to hear the phrase "I'm a bee" repeated over and over again. Dreadful.
Super Bowl Sunday is a pretty much a national holiday. If there are some who choose not to join the rest of the country then it's their right.
My parents and my brother are amongst those who've chosen not to join. When CBS makes the announcement every Sunday that "if you just tuned in to watch 60 Minutes it'll be shown in its entirety following the game" I tell people that that announcement is a personal message to my parents because they are the only two tuning in at exactly 7pm to watch 60 Minutes.
On the other hand...there are me and my 3 sisters who would never miss the Super Bowl or the party that goes with it.
I wouldn't be but we're having my family over. Great. Thankfully I'm doing 20 in the morning so I'll be good and useless while they're here.
SKIING

Not particularly. I might go to a movie. The whole TV spectacle is way way too long, and this is about the least compelling matchup in a decade.
I guess you were in the minority on that one.

I am not watching it now because it was competed last night. I did, however, watch it last night.
You are gay.

Reading comprehension might be beyond what you are capable of, but I will try to explain it to you. The person I was quoting said this superbowl was the least compelling in the last decade. I copied his quote and showed him an article from this morning stating that early indications are that it will be the highest rated superbowl ever. Therefore, it must have been compelling to a lot of people, despite what he had said.
Were you able to understand that? Thanks.
