QUICK. What's Seb Coe's 5000 pr?
14:11 I believe without looking it up.

Coe's 5k time is not notable. Lagat's is because only one person has ever run faster. Not comparable. Just admit you were wrong
anyone remember that thread about those people who are into running 24-7-365, got all the gear, remember all the times, races, results, etc, etc... and that these people tend to be pretty slow?
i remember that thread, too.
it was notable.

Wrong. 14:06.
Man, your credibility is shot. You must know nothing - heck - I doubt your ability to make a worthy post on any thread having anything to do with Seb Coe.
Best to keep your mouth shut, dude. The PR cops will nail you to a wall. Post with care...

Uh, no he couldn't. Just because you use the verb "jog", 60 flat is not a easy and Bolt wouldn't be the most efficient person running a 60 flat. I'm not sure if anyone could do a 60 followed by a 45, maybe Rudisha.
No, he couldn't, either. Not a chance.

What does Coe's 5k PR have to do with anything?
Look I'm not saying I support the snarky posts correcting some minor mistake, but Coe's 5k and Lagat's 1500 are NOT in any way comparable. A direct comparison would be Coe's 800, or Ngeny's mile, or Kipketer's 800. And maybe those aren't the best comparisons, since Kipketer and Coe set world records while Lagat didn't, but it's much closer than some overdistance PR that Coe likely didn't give much of a crap about. It's like asking what Asbel Kiprop's 3k PR is. I mean he's run it, but who cares? Quick, what is El G's 3k PR?
Oh and this thread's premise is absurd, Bolt would quit somewhere between 450 and 550.

7:23, #2 all time.

actually, buddy, lagat has run 3:26. You know, the second fastest 1500m time in history...
More to the point, he's run 3:32 in the last year. He'd get under 1:50 easy. The only problem he'd have would be hurdling over Bolt, who would have collapsed with a cramp at the 600m mark.
