According to direct athletics, which I know doesn't have 100% of the results, here are the PRs of some people seeded around me at 1455. I think anyone in the 845 range is looking at breaking 15 so it isn't that bad unless you get stuck as one of the top seeds in a heat. However, certain schools, like Rider (with 3/4 of the guys over 8:50), seem to have an awful lot of confidence that their runners are about to have major breakthroughs.

Oh man, why'd you post this? You got me curious and I researched the 5 athletes listed ahead of me in my event. It's a joke, only 1 guy looks like he'll hit the seed time. I guess I need to lie next time too.
There are 120men in the 5k. Are all of them under a certain cutoff? Also looks like Couple people are listed twice
So basically looks like (correct me if I'm wrong) out of the 120 5k dudes, maybe only half will get to race the 5k again at BU Valentines
