Let me guess, you're a die hard SEC fan, right?

Here we go again with people saying "if this, if that". Auburn won the game. Oregon lost. Period. Bad calls happen in games. The refs are human. If you don't want the game to be left to a questionable call by a ref, then you'd better be winning by enough so that it doesn't matter.
Good for Auburn...5 years in a row of the SEC winning the national title shows the dominance of that conference.
Probably the first thread from Flagpole I've ever agreed with 100%.

No, they sing Rocky Top.

That's a post, not a thread.

But when a human puts on that striped shirt for a game, he takes a vow of perfection. Refs should NEVER say I call 'em as I see 'em. They should only call them as they really are.
Football games may often be influenced by corrupt refs. Let's get the Auburn and Oregon CC teams against each other, mano-a-mano. A real National Championship match.
Keep those prejudiced refs for football and basketball.

Nah, but I spent most of the afternoon coming up with this one.
Go f*** yourself Mike Slive.

I can honestly say that this was the worst team to ever win the "National Championship"

No. Sorry. You are wrong. By far, you are very very wrong.
The school is, however, one of the dumbest schools in history. In a day-and-age when "Jock Factories" are scrutinized, schools like LSU, Clemson, Alabama and Auburn are still playing.
Some of you may be too young, but it was not too long ago that Auburn football was on a record 5th NCAA probation.
I'll take Stanford anyday. Better students, better people, better school. Not to mention you have to be a much much better coach, since you can not get any dumb jock into your school, like almost every SEC school.
Auburn has proven that probation has no effect on the university. They can cry all day long they didn't know anything about Newton's daddy, but that is nothing but an excuse for hiding your head in the sand. The NCAA smacked USC pretty hard for claiming the same thing; they didn't know anything.
The only thing that will work is something worse than probation. Something like a 5 year, or even 10 year, ban on home games, and only expenses covered for playing games at another school. What these restriction would do is truly hurt Auburn where they will feel it, in the pocketbook. That's the best way to get the schools attention.
Too bad we still have no NCAA natl champs in 142 years of CFB. What a shame.
