Favre was an inconsistent quarterback who had some great stretches and some mediocre ones. All in all, he was an above average quarterback with some elite years. Really not an amazing career except for the longevity.
I was a bit amazed that he got million$ in salary when it was clear his prime was in the rear view.
He wasn't the first major sports performer to do that, however.
