well played.
On a side note, why does i seem like every dodgy internet "get-rich-quick-while losing-300-pounds-a-day-in-the-Nigerian-stock-market-with rockHARD ABS!!!!" - site seems to use same crappy layout and bolded font. Is there some 38 year-old guy living in his mom's basement that makes every one of these sites?
Clearly it is painfully obvious that if Ritz had done all of these steps shown in the video he would of gained a free 13 minutes. Obviously increasing your so called "stride length" is the way that will obviously allow you huge margins of time over your competitors even though you could take more strides to make up for a small stride angle. Clearly, the commentator of this video has better form then Ritz and is just as elite as Ritz and obviously knows how to run.
*On a Serious Note* Ritz was better off a heel striker.
I was only able to sit in a chair and do about 85 toe lifts. My goal is to do 26,200 toe lifts. I will not stop until I reach my goal. And then I'll be able to run a sub 2 marathon. F-ing sweet.
They use the same format because they make them in a hurry because there are so many of them they need to make. Besides, it doesn't matter if it looks convincing or not because they're not going after people who would be able to tell the difference. I assume you're talking about the format you would see if you accidentally typed in Lesrun.com. Just think of all the popular sites out there that people might screw up the spelling on. That's why they look like they were made in 5 minutes.
The guy behind this video, Bob Prichard, is really something:

"Our runners usually cut a minute per mile or more off their running pace after we increase their stride angle."
He's also figured out why Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson suck at golf, and what he can do to help them:

at 7:04 into the video what did he do to increase his range of flexibility?
He says he inserted something between the glutes
ROFL
"If they can't run a fast sprint they go to the mile. If they can't run a fast mile, they go to cross-country. American distance runners come out of cross-country."
This guy is a jacka**
And I thought Gerry Lindgren's claims were crazy

Here, this link works. Enjoy.
http://www.youtube.com/user/Vafareunculo?feature=mhum#p/c/4EAB66131A177CCB/32/PLBZhTOnhkwAnother thing, reducing your bounce to 1" is impossible with a 110' stride angle...Just another thing that completely unlogical video shows us...
I dont understand why our government doesnt have individuals like Bob Prichard and Marshall Burt working on important things like eradicating AIDS, finding a cancer cure, new military weapons, etc.
With people as smart as these guys we should have the answer to just about everything.
Imagine what could become of a guy like Ritz by using Marshall Burt's training and Bob Prichards stride fixes. We wouldnt be looking at sub 2 hr, we would be looking at a sub 75minute marathon. Of course Ritz would still be up to only running 150m at that pace, but it would only take like 20 years till he got there!
America is coming back baby, i can see it now!
Thank you for helping us reach our potential Mr. Burt and Mr. Prichard. I dont know how the USATF goons will ever thank you enough.
Please don't criticize that which you don't understand. You guys can joke all you want but I have actually used his innovative microfiber reduction techniques. I increased 300 M hurdle time by 4 seconds, increased by stride angle by 30 degrees and increased by breathing range by 1". Now I no longer have asthma and everybody admires my miles long stride.
You can read my testimonial.
On the subject of joking we can all also have a laugh on the runnersworld piece two years ago of what people would have to be like in order to run a sub one hour marathon:

wow, increased your time, huh? great stuff
The concepts are generally completely sensical. Whether or not you all want to buy waht the guy is selling is inconsequential. I agree that you cannot take one shot of Ritz at mile x and compare it to Sammy at mile y, or whomoever else was in the video at mile z. Doesn't work that way to prove the point. But generally speaking, the proposed biomechanics do make sense, given all other systems are equal.

Of course he increased his time. The longer your stride the ground your feet are off the ground. The longer stride was more than canceled by the longer time in the air.
Every hurdlers knows you must the feet on the ground instantaneously after each hurdler, or else you're gonna get smoked.
