i Hope Arciniagia finishes Houston in a qualifying time. I'm a fan of his and know that he'll represent the USA well.
Kara is insanely talented and intensely competitive. I think it's a lot to ask post-pregnancy in 2011 but think she's a shoo-in for 2012 London. If she makes the 2011 WC team all the better. It'll be a better USA team with her on it.
I predict Los Angeles guys will bring back 7 medals from Daegu 2010 down from the 10 they brought back from Berlin 2009.

Had me thinking about coaches and how spread out our country still is. Also, it's still our college coaches providing charitable coaching and a couple new-found "professional" coaches paid very, very well with vastly superior resources.

You don't consider Fernandez injury prone? Many very talented runners will be left home. My list doesn't include Meb, Ryan and Sara Hall, Deena, Kara Goucher, Ulrey, Heath, Culley, Bizarri, Russell, Metevier Baille, Nelson, Jager, Vesey, Wright, Centrowitz, Derrick, Abdi, Lewy Boulet, Moran. Some are more focused on marathons and money but nobody on this supplemental list would be a major surprise.

You heard it here first- Wheating's gonna get cocky and get his doors blown off by a late charging Manzano, who (short enough to escape notice) clocks a 37.4 final 300.
3:30.9 is one thing; 2nd in the WAF and sprint battles with Choge + Kiprop is on a different level.
Of course then he'll run 3:55 in the WC prelim...
