It's hard to say which facist dictator is trying to frame Assange. It could be a criminal official in the gov'ts of Russia, China, Israel, USA, Iran, etc. Who really knows ? All we do know is that there are thousands of victims in facist countries who want to be free and are leaking gobs of information on their govt's and militants. The sources of leaks are too numerous to keep track of. Plus there are tens of thousands of computer geeks on the internet distributing the information as they are presented to them. The cats out of the bag. There's no stopping freedom and democracy. From now on, we will continue to see secrets as those under tyranny seek a better life.

Clearly the OP is testing the American tendency to presume guilty until assassinated by a government agency.

One thing is for sure and certain the case against Assange

is a lot weaker than the case against one Mr. O.J.

We'll never really know what happened for sure with O.J. since LAPD was caught spreading blood evidence and did not properly maintain the chain of custody for the evidence. After the trial, the County of Los Angeles spent millions establishing it's own investigative bureau (with college degreed detectives and scientists holding qualifications and training akin to the FBI) to take over the work from the inept bozos at LAPD.

This has left the US struggling, despite apparent popular support for doing so, to come up with some remotely legal basis for censoring the group. Indeed, Congressional hearings originally aimed at inventing some new law allowing for Assange’s imprisonment seem to be falling apart in the face of a preponderance of warnings from experts that such a law would inevitably be unconstitutional."

McConnell & Biden are chicken hawk cowards who never served in an infantry unit but loved sending you and your kid to do what they were to chicken to do themselves during their youth. Assange, wikileaks, and the 1,000s of US informants that have released the data have saved numerous lives already as facists have had to stop in their tracks and retreat from murderous criminal activities.

I can't see where Assange has broken any laws. He is a journalist and accorded the freedom to publish what he received. The people who leaked the information to Assange may have broken the law--if the government wants to go after anybody it should be them. I suspect in this case that the government will just continue to shoot the messenger--perhaps literally.
