milesplit is a pioneer of "copy and paste" technology for results, articles and photos so they are not even in the same breath as Dyestat. sure, the idiots there know how to type in up results really quickly and then reformat. but how can they claim to be national leaders in high school coverage when the output is cluttered and the journalism is extremely unprofessional?
Many of the Milesplit sites provide excellent coverage in their state and put out a solid amount of original information.
How many indoor meets does Dyestat have results up for yet? Looks like one indoor meet and two outdoor all-comers meets in California. Dyestat's fancy TFX database has one mark in it so far.
Milesplit probably has results from about 50-100 indoor meets up so far.
So yeah.. if you want fancy articles and pictures about events that happened several weeks ago, Dyestat is a great site. A lot of people used to like Dyestat for the results and performance lists, and that appears to have taken a back seat to providing fancy coverage for the big meets at the expense of everything else.
