I'd say if you don't see anything with her in the long term, break up with her. It will only make the break up harder the longer you're together.

Morning after pill(RU 436) just in case or did she have a procedure after a Doctor confirmed pregnancy? Did you have an "accident" broken condom or went bare etc when your goal was to avoid unwanted pregnancy?

I generally break up with women shortly after I realize that it's not for the long term. (I'm not counting non-exclusive summer flings and the like as relationships.) The one big exception was when I was dating a woman who I knew wasn't going to stay with me. I was so head over heels that I stuck around for a few years anyway. It was brutal in the end, but I don't know if I'd say that it wasn't worth it. It was great while it lasted, and I learned a lot about myself and about relationships.

This is quite possibly the most offensive comment I've seen on letsrun that didn't obviously come from a troll.
Something similar happened to me, and if you had asked me those questions in those words in the real world, I would have punched you in the face.

It's not offensive at all. You want a kid, make sure the girl does too. You don't want a kid, don't be pissed when the girl gets an abortion. It's her body, she can do what she wants.

3 months. It was good situation for us both... we met at my work going-away party (I was moving appx. 2 hr away) in late May. We had a long-distance relationship but were able to meet most every weekend. The time included a great Fourth of July weekend road-tripping to Kansas City and meeting some of her hometown friends. Her internship ended in August and she would be moving to a full-time job in another part of the country.
We knew what our lives were going to be like and just enjoyed the time we had together without any assumption or expectation of it becoming more serious. I did meet her once for dinner when she was passing through town about a year after we ended it as a couple, and it was pleasant catching up. We each were in new relationships. I have no idea where she is now, but I wish her well while feeling no need to seek her out.
I once went out with Gebresselassie - It lasted for the first 2km but eventually the split was inevitable.
I did something similar as you did.
Was in atlanta for 6 Months on my first job. AFter two I met this amazing girl who did her masters degree at a local university. I was leaving back for germany 4 months and she knew from the first evening. it hit her harder than it did me. However, we had an amazing time despite tight schedules on both sides. No more contact between us, which is really the only thing I regret, as I really liked her also as a friend.
Well, at least I ticked the Thai chick off my list....
