ventolin - that's not what he's saying. He said that the Chinese times being PED enhanced have *no bearing* on the EA times.
This means that whether or not the Chinese times were enhanced, the EA times may or may not be enhanced. The poster may think, completely independent of the Chinese times, that the EA times are PED enhanced - i.e. there is *no bearing* or relationship between the two for that poster.

15y ago it was reckoned 14'30 was a damn hard barrier ( myself included ) with not even legends like gaby/sonia or paula cracking it by early '00s

Well, to compare to Paula - she was not born at altitude, wasted 3 running years at university and did not have as much basic speed
