If other schools are going to recruit foreigners then if you want to be successfull you better get a few yourself. Look at Ok State. Or you could be a CU and bang on about how you only have Americans... and then finish 15th at nationals.

You dont need foreigners to win national titles, it helps a shit ton to get a guy like Aish or Hueffer or Tom Farrell of Ok State, but you can win with just americans as well. Either way stop bitching about whos got foriegners/who doesnt. Im not a fan of it myself, but c'mon if you dont like it, do something about it and kick their sorry a$$

I tried to be reasonable but you are an idiot. You guys have had 6-7 foreigners on the TEAM, you know, like the entire team, the past few years. Western has had a few as well, that is why I highlighted mostly, unfortunately you are an imbecile with a lack of reading comprehension.

If you did have some sort of comprehension, than you would see that my comment you are referring to was a slate against western, and not a diss towards Adams.

Like I said, Adams has never had more foreigners, and this is the least amount of foreigners that Western has had in forever. Both those statements are true and your are an idiot if you disagree.

Adams might not be cheating, Western might not be cheating, I don't give a damn, all I know is that both programs have done sketchy stuff.

And btw, Proctor was recruited from a juco college, little different don't ya think?

One more thing...loosing makes me bitter? Yeah it does, especially in monopoly. Luckily I was apart of a few national titles at Western so I wasn't bitter all too often. I'd like to see the boys that are there now do well, but whether they win or loose I won't loose sleep over it.

You do realize that Gabe Proctor is a Refugee and went to High School in VT, right? Not exactly the same things as a fresh off the boat ringer. . . The guy was nothing until he trained hard in college. No different than any American kid that blossoms in college. But, no. Thats a nice story I'm glad for him. I'm also sure he does work hard and is a great kid but that doesn't change the fact that he is foreign. I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all just pointing out that the number of foreigners on the respective teams at nationals were equal.

Reuben Mewi wasn't any good when he first arrived at Adams. Kenya has had it's far share if civil wars. But I'm gonna take a wild guess that you'd still refer to him as a foreign ringer.

I'm from Adams State and I can assure you that we only had 1 foreigner running for us in the past 3 years.

Western Currently Has 1 True Foreigner - David Flynn

Proctor is not a foreigner. And even if you wanna include him then Western has 2 at most.

Adams Currently Has 6 True Foreigners - To Many To List

Just because Damon accidentally recruited a bunch of foreigners that can't run a 10k doesn't mean they aren't on their roster.

And besides beyond all that it was a generalized statement about the last few years which included the 2009 team that had what 6 of their top 10 that were foreign?

And Reuben was good when he got to Adams. His first season I remember he beat some really good Western guys butts.

Ruben Mwei sucked when he first got to Adams State. I remember seeing 5k's for him outside of 15 minutes. Or maybe thats good by Western standards these days.

beating somebody for 3 years does not merit the claim that adams owns western, gets better coachin or has better talent. it means that adams has had western's number the past three years. Don't pretend as though adams has dominated western throughout the history of this awesome rivalry

Stop making your school look so bad man. You don't have to self proclaim your college, your varsity runners are already doing that with their feet. The only people that get on here and talk smack are the unproven freshman that think they are grade A just because they are on a fantastic team. Get off the boards, listen to your teammates and coach, and get as fast as them.

I highly doubt the posts are from anyone on the ASC team. Alumni, high school fans possibly. But more likely it's the same posters slating them come back on here and put stupid posts on praising them just to make them try and look bad. Thats why Letsrun sucks.
