Really, I thought this is what got us behind in the distance world, x-box and video games. They did play soccer there. By the way a verbal committment is binding in one way, it is their word and it should be their bond I don't care if they are only 16 or 17.

Yah i saw some Facebook pictures of the camp...looks like it was a lot of fun.
The poster above has all the campers right. It was fun to see Sveinsson out as we haven't seen her since April, and to see her hanging out with Cuffe, Maddie Meyers, etc.
Also cool to see the Rosas, Moussa, Gedyon, Wills, etc. all hanging out together.
Nice idea for a camp by Nike.

Hey, uh, no need to get unnecessarily hostile. It was just a curious absence to me because I would think the NXN champion would jump at the chance to train with/learn from some of Nike's best, and therefore make arrangements for his other commitments.
Either way, it's nothing to get heated about or a reason to be condescending. It's not every day a great high school runner gets to meet Adam Goucher, Alan Webb, etc., so it seemed strange that he wasn't there and I couldn't think of any reason he wouldn't go, so I posited that perhaps he wasn't invited.
Lutz is way cooler than any of those dweebs. He probably was like, "F*** that, I'm going to stay in Texas and hang-out with my boys."
