Correct. The last 3 years were town, messiah and desales winning conference titles. A little break there from the 8 years of town victory. Not a huge fan of the del Val course, but I think it will mix things up a little bit since it is such an uneven and interesting course.
Is Delval's course more hilly than Desales?

It is not more hilly, but it is a jarring course. First mile goes up and around a field and has quite a few ruts in the ground on the way down. The rest goes out and around farmland. A rhythm breaking course if there ever was one.
I work with an etown alum, and from what I've heard, they've been doing some sort of chaotic surges in training. Gonna be tough for them, without any seniors this year...
that's silly. they have the whole team back from last year that qualified for NCAAs with 5 sophomores.

Watch out for muhlenberg this year. Although they may have not been very strong the past few years, they have a couple of good freshmen and sophomore who can contribute behind trophy to challenge in the region.
Yea too early to tell anything for real. Not sure what to make of the Del Val course after seeing the times. Messiah looked good but I'd like to know how hard they were going, Etown didn't run anyone good, DeSales beat Widener by a point at Lehigh, but both of them were missing guys. Leb Val's guys ran slow so I don't know what to say about them. I'd like to get a review of the Delval course from someone who ran it today.
Yea they looked solid, who are the young guys to watch?
Regionals should be interesting this year, I think there will be some surprises.
The course has some hills, none of which are that hard. What made the course slow was the uneven terrain / poor footing.
Leb Val ran a tempo run. Look for them to open up next weekend.

Also, half of their team was listed under lancaster bible if you look at their results
course at delval was very rutty and uneven. it certainly cost everyone time. but since hardly anyone of consequence ran, who cares. looks like more women's teams chose to compete anyway and some good runners ran average times, you can assume the course is a little slow. whatever, it's 9/4.

Looks like most teams did not race.
LVC men and women looked good at their home invite, both beating Gettysburg who finished second.
Men were 26:45, 26:57, 27:05, 27:10 and 28:01 for 8K.
Women were 18:47, 19:42, 19:43, 20:14, 21:15 for 5K.
Widener men looked good at PSU, Dennis Conn ran a great race.
