Which rapper do you think could run a sub 1:55 800m?

Go to a local road race and you will find plenty of fit people who can do 11 mile runs (like Eminem) who cannot break 2:30, let along 3:00 for an 800.

If somebody said E was doing his 11 mile runs around 6:30 pace, yeah, maybe I would think so. But just because somebody runs 11 miles doesn't mean they can run 5 minute mile pace for a 400m, let alone 800m.

And yes, I can average <2:30 800m pace for a 10K... but at least I respect that doing a 2:30 is not easy for most people, including plenty of runners who actually train.

1. Eminem, 2:40-2:45 (1st place)

2. P.Diddy, 2:55

3. 50cent, 3:00

4. Snoop, 3:00

5. The Game, 3:10

Get over yourselves. 2:30 is not fast for someone in good all around shape. Recently ran 4x800 and pulled several crossfitters to right around 2:30 on the last rep. At another gym I attend several rappers and music industry types show up to workout occasionally who are pretty fit. With a few targeted track sessions 2:30 would be no problem. 1:55 is another story.

The Game would annihilate all those foos. He was recruited to play basketball at Washington State and actually ran track in high school too.

I went to jr high and hs with Snoop. He was actually very unathletic and awkward. And he couldn't run for shit.
