Fordham has announced who the new recruits are for XC/T&F for both genders.

Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham cross country/track & field head coach Tom Dewey announced the newest additions to the 2010-11 squad today, as 11 players have signed on with the Rams. To date, the list includes six women and five men, who will be at Rose Hill next season. NOTE: Track & field walk-ons will be announced later in the summer.
The women's list includes Anisa Arsenault (Attleboro, Mass./Bishop Feehan), Diane Bain (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey), Darleen Eiermann (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore), Titi Fagade (Rutland, Mass./Wachusett Regional), Averie Sheppard (Florham, N.J./Hanover Park), and Kerry Sorenson (Clifton, N.J./Clifton).
The five men's athletes are Michael Belgiovine (Mahwah, N.J./Don Bosco Prep), Joseph Hartnett (Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius), Kevin Harvey (Merrick, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun), Sam Houston (Windermere, Fla./Lake Highland), and Brian Walter (Haddon Heights, N.J./Paul VI).

Arsenault is from Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts, where she competed for both the cross country and track teams for four seasons. She served as team captain for the cross country team, as well as for the indoor and outdoor seasons of track as a senior.
Anisa Arsenault
For cross country, Arsenault helped Bishop Feehan to Division, League, State and Northeast Regional Championships, as well as to a 15th place finish at Nationals in Portland, Oregon. Individually, she was an EAC and Sun Chronicle All-Star selection.
In track, the Attleboro native was a 2010 All-American, as a part of the national catholic high school record-setting the indoor 4 x mile relay (20:48), while also setting the school record in the 4 x 800 relay (9:24), which took second place at the New England Regional Championship. She earned All-Star status for indoor and outdoor track three times each by the EAC and the Sun Chronicle. Arsenault holds the individual school mark in the outdoor 2-mile run (10:57) and was Runner of the Meet for the 2010 Catholic Schools Championship meet.
Away from the track, Arsenault is a member of six honor societies and ranks in the top ten in her class academically.
Bain comes from Ramsey High School in New Jersey, where she also competed for both the cross country and track teams for four seasons. Primarily a middle-distance and intermediate hurdles runner, she was team captain for the entire 2009-10 campaign.
Bain was an All-League performer during all three parts of the 2009-10 season, while garnering First Team All-County accolades in indoor and outdoor track. A three-time team MVP (twice for indoor, once for outdoor), she holds school records in the 800 meters, 600 meters, the 4 x 800 relay, and the distance medley relay.
Away from the track, Bain was a recipient of the scholastic "R" award, given to Ramsey athletes for outstanding academic and athletic achievement.
Eiermann is a graduate of Bay Shore High School in Bay Shore, New York, where she lettered with the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams She was an All-League and All-County selection in all three sports as a senior in 2009-10, serving as team captain for all three and being named MVP of the indoor track squad. Eiermann wrapped up her career by receiving the Peter N. Aquilone Leaders of Tomorrow Award, presented to outstanding student-athlete of Hispanic descent who has excelled in the classroom or in community service, at the 2010 Hispanic Games.
As a junior in 2008-09, Eiermann received All-League, All-County and All-State honors in indoor track and All-League and All-County accolades during the outdoor season where she also received the Tate Gordon Award.
In the classroom, Eiermann was a four-year member of the Service Honor Society and a two-year member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society.
A native of Rutland, Massachusetts, Fagade is a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, where she competed in cross country and track, but was primarily a sprinter. She was team captain as a senior, setting school records in the indoor 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 relays and the outdoor 4 x 400 relay.
Fagade was the team MVP for indoor track and was named a District All-Star for her performances in the 600 meters, which rated seventh in the state of Massachusetts in 2010. Her 4x400 also placed highly, ranking sixth in the country and fourth in New England.
Academically, Fagade is a member of the National Honor Society and the honor roll, and serves as the Community Service officer for her chapter of the National Honor Society.
Sheppard was a three-sport athlete at Hanover Park High School, participating in cross country, track, and soccer. A two-year captain and two-time MVP for the track team, she earned All-County honors four times, as well as All-Area and All-Conference accolades.
Primarily a sprints and hurdles runner, Sheppard was a County Champion in the 200 and 400 meters and the 100 and 400 hurdles. She was also a Conference and State Sectional Champion at Hanover Park. Academically, she is a member of the National Honor Society and the high honor roll.
Sorenson was a cross country and track standout at Clifton High School in Clifton, New Jersey. She earned All-County First Team honors from The Record six times in all three seasons: twice for cross country, three times for indoor track and once for outdoor track. She was also named First Team All-League by The Record six times as well, three for cross country, two for indoor track and once for outdoor track.
A team MVP during the cross country and outdoor track seasons, Sorenson is a part of the indoor track school record-setting 4x 800 relay and distance medley relay. Away from the track, she received the Rotary Youth Leadership Award, and was a participant at the National Youth Leadership Conference.
Belgiovine is primarily a distance and cross country runner from Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. He served as team captain for the cross country team, as well as for the indoor and outdoor seasons of track.
In cross country, Belgiovine was an All-State selection for Group Non-Public A, while also being an All-County and All-League performer, and an All-American selection in the indoor and outdoor 4 x mile relay event.
An All-League performer in both indoor and outdoor track, Belgiovine was All-County in the indoor 1,000 meters and holds school marks in the 1,600 meters (4:19) and 1000 meters (2:32). He also earned All-County honors in outdoor track after being a part of the distance medley relay that tied a school record in 10:15.
In the classroom, Belgiovine is a member of both the National and Italian Honor Societies.
Hartnett is a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, where he competed in both cross country and track, and was a 2009 State Intersectional Team member for Section III. His major accomplishments came in cross country season, where he helped Fayetteville-Manlius to four League Championships (2006-09), two Sectional Championships (2008-09), and a State Championship in 2009. Individually, he was a 2009 Nike Regional Champion and finished ninth at the Nike Nationals.
In the classroom, Hartnett was a member of the National and Science Honor Societies and the honor roll, while being an AP Scholar.
Harvey is a four-year member of the cross country/track team at Sanford H. Calhoun High School, where he served as team captain as a senior. He was an All-State selection in both cross country and indoor track, and was a three-time indoor county champion.
Away from his team, Harvey is a member of four honor societies (National, National Spanish, National Math, and NYS Science) and is a part of the Athletes Helping Athletes program.
Houston split his high school career between Trinity Prep and Lake Highland High School, participating in track & field, football, and basketball. He holds the 400 meter record at both schools, while being a part of both schools 4 x 400 relay records. He is a two-time team MVP at Lake Highland, while he shares the high jump record at Trinity Prep.
Walter competed for the cross country and track teams at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield, New Jersey, for two seasons. He was a First Team All-Conference selection for the 2008-09 campaign, competing in the distance events. Academically, he is a member of the National Honor Society.
