I'm sure you're just a troll but I'll bite anyway. Barringer was ranked 7th in the world last year for the 1500. And that was considered a good year for the 1500. It is quite uncommon to see many under 4.

The more interesting question is, how much $, if any a all, did the blow up at NCAA XC champs cost her? I mean, if she had blown the field away and won in a pr, one could assume he deal would be even sweeter.

She's personable, attractive, articulate, wholesome, and on the verge of being one of the top three middle-long distance runners in the world . . . and she's American. Seven figures would not be out of line.

So if she's signing for $1 million, does that mean Ray Flynn is getting $150,000?

First I want to clarify on Kara's salary. I work for Nike and have access to every athletes contracts. She is currently making a base of 320K. With bonuses she can surpass 600K in any given year. Jenny B was offered a 4 year 750K contract that another shoe company upped by 250K. Jenny would be wise to sign with us. She may make less in base, but her access to world class facilities, medical etc more than makes up for it. BTW Galen's base per year is 350K, 5 year deal.
