Buck will never get fired for poor performance. With Broyles gone and Jeff Long now in charge all that matters is football. And the cross country team is looking a lot better than the football team this fall.

"Ulrey Dorian is academically ineligible for Cross Country!" - A Factual Reality Folks!!
To run 4:00-4:02, 3-5 times in 4 weeks is a completely different story especially on the 60 miles a week Bucknam calls high mileage. Bucknam may be a very nice guy but he is so far in over his head it has to be hard for him to sleep.
The reality is Bucknam will lose his job in 3-4 years after being winless in the SEC over and over again! Dorian will have to grow a pair to run the much tougher conference with 6-10 Kenyans in each event form 800-5000. He has the talent no question.
Sorry to say that the truth hurts! Arkansas on November 3rd will lose the Conference Cross Country Meet for the first time in 35 years, and guess what they will be no team from the state of Alabama and have to fight for every point to get under Florida's score for 3rd Place!
It is too bad that Andy McClary and the top runner for Arkansas (2 Time Cross All-American) are also not going to be running this fall. McClary has a stress fracture in his foot!!
Oh, OSU Invite will be first and 2 Oklahoma team, OSU and Tulsa will clean up and eat Pork sandwiches. Tell me in November when Scott McPherson qualifies as an individual who is going to build the program, not this idiot who has denied John McDonnell's help and claims to have stated several times that he wants the SEC and NCAA trophies cleared out of the track office to make room for the ones he is going to win. NICE DREAMS!
Bucknam's non embracement of John McDonnel shows directly that this guy has the self esteem of a 14 year old who is way too tall for his grade and has extreme acne.
Direct quote? Link?
Didn't think so.
Man, you're so full of shit. Douche.
whether that's a direct quote or not. It happens to be true.
Wow...so many haters on here its hard to know where to start. Not sure if anyone noticed this team got 23rd in XC last season, so its not like they have far to fall.
They may lose to Alabama in XC, actually they probably will but Bucknam won so many confernce titles and knows how to build and coach a team that I can almost guarantee they will be a force indoors.
Are you guys really worred if Ulrey will be able to run 3-5 4:00 miles in a few weeks because of his low mileage? Who are we comparing him to -- didnt they have someone drop a 4:35 mile at the NCAA Indoor meet last year on the DMR? Wake the f**k up people! The dynasty was dead before Bucknam got there. If you are a true Hog supporter you will give him every chance to rebuild it.
Don't forget that the indoor mile runner up also had his coach leave. Anyone think that jake morse will follow Vig out of Tx?
No Bubba Thornton will not hire an idiot at Texas, so Jake will have a good coach, watch the news! If Bucknum ever gets 23rd in Cross, it will be like parting the RED SEA - Yes that much of a miracle!

Toto, we are not in Kansas any more, opps!
Dorian, we are not in Iowa or the MVC anymore.
Bucknum's Men's Results in an extremely week conference.
2007 - 7th out of 9 teams
2006 - 5th out of 9 teams
2005 - 7th ouf of 9 teams
Not one finisher under 25 minutes
The SEC is not the MVC on the track and without Walter Dix and a great football team, Bucknum will built a BRICK SHIT HOUSE! That is all he will build and Dorian, when you are in Eugene in 2012, well, nevermind, you have never been to Eugene!

Teddy and chris..get off the message boards
Last time I checked Ulrey was second in the nation in the 1500.....so im going to go out on a limb and say that he will have no problem competing in the SEC.
and the last time I checked, the 2008-2009 seasons have not yet begun, so let's not treat predictions like actual results...moron.
It\'s a direct quote? I didn\'t know that compliance departments give out direct quotes. And, if they did, I doubt they\'d say his name was Ulrey Dorian, considering that\'d be backward.
Then again, the poster who says he is ineligible is obviously a little bit for \"backward\" thinking.
A lot of sorry, dirty jerks on this message board trashing a kid who will be one of the best athletes in Fayetteville immediately.
