I feel I'm serious. Ran a 2:41 marathon, run between 60 to 75 miles a week with 1 day off. Just don't think it's that important to know the exact mileage down to the yard or the pace to the 100th of a second when training.
Nobody with a Garmin knows that either or anything close to it. It just gives them a better approximation of their mileage and splits than simple estimation does. I guess they don't think it's that important to not know. Go figure.
