Depends on how much it costs.
I got one last Christmas. I love it.
I got a 201 this year. Used it christmas morn. so far so good.
Why not strap on an enitre computer onto your arm. That damn thing is bigger than my laptop. Why would anyone get the 201. The only one that seems even close to manageable is the 305. Still gay though.
I got a rock.
Or was that in a trick-or-treat bag? Gee, it's been a long time. All I really remember about Christmas is arguing with this annoying girl who had a weenie kid brother, then making up and getting along in the end, parents and teachers talking in some unintelligible language that sounded like a faraway muted horn, singing hymns while this blond kid sat on the floor and played a tiny piano, and my dog doing some goofy dance on his hind legs with his ears sticking up in the air. It seemed like it happened exactly the same way every year, like deja vu. Man I'm getting old.
I got a little Garmin for Christmas. He just keeps running around spouting gibberish about how they were screwed after WWI.
i got a garmin car one
I got one but it sucks. I've been running on my treadmill and it doesn't seem to be showing how far I've run. I'll call tech support to see what they have to say.

Good post, funny! I already have a 305 (much better than my previous 201), and I got one for my car as a Christmas present.
I just turned 13 and got a rock in my pants.
I got one and I love it.
I got one from a non running friend that when to a "running store" and sales clerck talked him into it.Said all serious runners need to know exact distace and time. Can't wait to return it, I couldn't care less if my run was 6 miles or 6.17 or if I ran 6 minute pace or 6:02.7 pace. Heck most of the time I don't even start my watch or I forget to stop when at stop light or when I finish.
I just got laid... and it was great.
I just got one. Will use it tomorrow.

Clearly not talking about you.

That was hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. :-)
I feel I'm serious. Ran a 2:41 marathon, run between 60 to 75 miles a week with 1 day off. Just don't think it's that important to know the exact mileage down to the yard or the pace to the 100th of a second when training.
I've had the 305 for about 8 months and really enjoy using it.
The only issue I have with it is the altitude reading. Although I usually run the same 4-5 flat courses, those readings are never the same.
The pace reading can be annoying too, constantly reminding me how slow I am running :-).
