You bringing him up is a red flag. You only bring up probable dopers. But the 29 year old Dr. Yann Schrub, turning 30 next month, has been knocking down times bit by bit on the track and now he's got the impressive range of 7:29/26:43. At age 17, he was just a 1:57 800m guy. He was 25 before he knocked that down at all, to 1:51 in 2021. At 18, he knocked his 1500m best down to 3:52. So, at this point, ready to go to college if he were an American, he would have been nowhere close to the top high school runners, 18 seconds off the current American hs record at 1500. At age 26 in 2022, he still had just a 3:45 1500m pr! The following year he knocked that down to 3:41.59. Finally, at age 27, he would have been a top five American hs prospect, nine years older. Then at age 28, he drops his 1500 pr another 6 seconds to 3:35. Then he finally had the speed to compete for a spot in world finals at 5000m. Then in 2025, he knocks off another 4 seconds, and at the French champs, no less, not a time trial race, to run 3:31, which is faster than Geb or Bekele ever had, plenty of speed to be competitive at World 5000 and certainly 10000m. That he was 28 at that point and had dropped 14 seconds at 1500m in the latter portion of his 20s made this unlikely to say the least. I want to believe that this is real, despite significant French doping history, so I'm going through other events to see the potential there before the last three years of absolutely extraordinary drops. In 2019, at 23, his 3k, which he ran every year, was still only at 8:07. He then drops 11 seconds to 2020 with 7:56 at age 24. He then took off another 7 seconds in a year, then 1 second. In one year, he dropped 34s in the 5000. His 10k road just dropped a minute in 2 years. So, it is all unlikely.
