Mantz is likely a fair bit slower than prime Rupp was in an open 400, and would be blown away on the last lap of a tactical track 10,000, but he still ran a 3:37 1500 without really preparing for it.
If I had to guess, probably in the 53.low range while in peak track shape - 54.xx while in marathon training sounds about right.

I ran 39.0 300m while training for a marathon, so Mantz could do that and continue on to 400m. He definitely has the tools.
Your lifetime personal best in the mile is about 4:50.
You didn’t attend college and therefore have no college PBs.
Mantz has run multiple 10ks on the track.
You have not run a 2:34 marathon or a 4:18 road mile.
He recently said that he ran at UTEP in the 1980s. He was born on June 22, 1988. He said that he ran an 8:41 steeplechase at UTEP. Look at him, he's so weak and effeminate that there is no way he could get over a barrier even if he used his hands while swinging his legs sideways. He couldn't even run a 75s lap in the steeplechase.
The Marathon is Unusual And has nothing to do with the 400, Extreme Example Alberto Salazar Was The best Marathoner in the World for like 3 Years in the 400, He even had The 10000 American Record and ran a 4:02 Mile, But they say He could never break 60 Seconds/1Minute in the 400 even with a Running Start, So in his prime he was The best in the USA in the 10000 and best in The World in the Marathon, Yet Dozens of 10 Year old Girls Could have Smoked him in the 400
Salazar, Ritz, Mantz...no matter what their 400m PRs are or how slow you think these athletes are, they could all at some point at least run a 54 second 400m. All of these guys could run a 4-minute mile which means they were at some point 'capable' of running a 54 seconds 400m. Post high school, a long-distance runner almost never gets the opportunity to run a fresh all out 400m in spikes. I have watched many elite HS distance runners split 49x at the Penn Relays.

That’s right. The new lie is that he ran at UTEP in the 80s even though he wasn’t born until 1988. He previously lied about being on some other team. He’s so delusional that he can’t accept the fact that his only real connection to running is this website. He has never shown any ability or talent; all his PRs that are actually available only show he has decent fitness for an average American, but slow for any serious competitor. The coaching job is obviously fiction. Dahl couldn’t get a job folding napkins at McDonalds, let alone be trusted by any institution to be a coach.
If he trained for specifically I imagine like a 48 something
Right now, I imagine like 51
Conner Mantz? No way in hell. He couldn’t break 50 if his life depended on it. I would concede to maybe a 51 high, simply because it is difficult for anyone to run 3:37 for 1500 if they can’t break 52 in the 4. And 51 high would be his peak, there is no chance he runs that in marathon training.
Despite you obviously never having run at UTEP or running any of the PRs you claim, what is the point about bragging about your PRs that you claim you ran years ago? Who do you think cares? Nobody believes a word you say. And even if you actually ran 4:18 and 8:40 like you claim, those are still mediocre times. Nobody cares.
He's gone from insane to insanerer. In 1989 you were 1 year old and you've never been to PA or New England. I had. Obsessing over me is doing nothing for your mental health. Stop it.
You've never been to XC Nationals in Denton Texas. That was in 1976, 12 years before you were born. I was there. Your name doesn't even appear in the results, of course.
You couldn't run an 8:21 steeplechase, because you've never run the steeplechase, ever. I have.
You can't analyze your college kids because you have never been a college coach.

Dahl is clearly unhinged. Look no further than his YouTube page where in one of his videos he has a full on psychotic screaming rant. It’s a shame that mental health access is so poor in this country that you have stark raving lunatics like Dahl running around, trolling message boards and pretending to be a coach.
Is it possible to have a "sticky" added to the message board declaring that Dahl is not/was never a coach, never competed in college, is not a college professor with multiple degrees, etc.? And add his TRUE best times. Only confirmed factual information so new users know to ignore him from day one. I'm sure the owners would never go for it because they support him 100% but it's just a thought.
