IMO the really interesting race will be Sesseman vs. Yee. As many have said, they've been training together, and I suspect they will go out together too. I imagine Phil wants to show his quality as a dedicated runner and Yee ways to scalp him and be first Brit home.
I think I heard Phil say on a podcast that he wants 2:06 or faster so maybe he'll even go out at GB record pace (2:05 mid if I remember correctly). Yee posted on Instagram that his Coros predicts he can run 2:05 high so maybe he'll go for that
I don't believe the Yee hype. Whilst he is a specimen, he isn't in the shape Sesemann is and he doesn't have anything like the experience at the distance, which counts for a lot. I predict a 2:06 from Phil and a creditable 2:08 from Alex.
