NXN: Pro = Better field of athletes, Con = worse weather
Brooks: Pro = Better weather, Con = worse field of athletes
Though I suppose it could be debatable whether the caliber of the field is actually a pro or a con (maybe you're just happy to travel to a national meet with a better chance to finish in the top half of the field).
For a comparison of the fields, all NXR athletes are able to compete at all Brooks regionals aside from athletes in the Brooks West states (which has it's qualifier the same day as NXN) and Florida athletes (whose state meet was on the same day as NXR Southeast). It's notable that it used to only be Foot Locker Midwest and NXR South athletes that could do both (as you'll see, there isn't nearly as much overlap in other regions). This is how the Brooks qualifiers fared at their respective NXR meets:

For NXN they can arrive at the hotel on Wednesday evening, get breakfast, lunch, dinner, Nike athlete pro Q&As, etc. The experience for NXN has lots of stuff for kids, what was the experience like for footlocker/brooks? When can they arrive, all expenses paid, etc. I imagine Nike has the better experience in addition to the better competition.
It's probably hard to answer that question since, as I understand it, Brooks is more of a replacement/successor of Foot Locker rather than a simple sponsor switch. At Foot Locker, they had an all expenses paid stay at a nice hotel for a couple of nights and IIRC also got to rub shoulders with pro athletes as well (plus free swag). I would imagine it will probably be the same with Brooks (probably Brooks pro athletes in this case). Don't know about how the breakfasts/lunches/dinners compare, and don't know if the level of contact with professional athletes was the same between the meets.
Aside from all that, the NXN experience is probably more oriented around running and the sport (e.g. all things Nike including a tour of Nike HQ and talking with the aforementioned Nike athletes), and the Brooks experience is probably more oriented more casually around the scenes of San Diego (e.g. the local beach) since Brooks isn't headquartered in San Diego. I'm sure both experience would be great, though.

Yes, if you’ve had an athlete take part in Brooks PR, you know they are world class in hosting a great event for the athletes and coaches/parents. Can’t wait for Brooks XC and this experience.
Easton Allred also graduated HS early and was even taking CC classes while he competed at NXN. I haven't read the rulebook, but I'm pretty sure He can compete as long as he meets the age requirements. Graduating from an American Highschool is not hard if you're a decently, diligent student. I could have graduated HS a year early if I had taken two English classes my junior year, but I personally did not want to rush the experience. Grace Ping and Katelyn Touhy along with many others also competed at NXN before HS. Ping wasn't even a teenager for the first NXN she did, she was 12! Overall, since both National Meets are not state regulated, it's really comes to the decision of the organizers. But, I don't think he's an age cheat honestly. Many of my homeschooled peers have told me it's pretty easy to get ahead in their programs especially since many of them were allowed to take attend class most of the year without having to follow the typical, long break schedule.
Guys its not the complicated. He started running in HS, when he was in 8th grade, but the state only gives 4 years of HS eligibility, so he can't run in HS meets. He is going to college next year, he talked about studying for SAT and doing essays in an interview last month.

Interesting, Roco Culpepper and Maddie Gullickson both qualified and will be running with their teams at NXN as well. I'm sure there are a few more mixed in there that qualified with their teams too.
To me, that sounds capitalist as all get out. Its marketing - they got thousands of kids to check brooks social media who otherwise wouldn't have gave a crap beyond the regional and national meets. I'm not even sure how a corporation could be socialist - maybe if the government owned a controlling stake in it or something.
I guess if it were a coop, like REI, a company could have socialist policies, but brooks isn't one of those.
I noticed after 3 of the 4 Brooks regionals that a lot of no-names seemed to win the races and upset some better-known runners. Evan Spreitzer upset Kavi Gibson after it seemed he would avenge a mediocre NXR regional. Nathan Lee was also upset by a random called Sam Laverdiere. Where are these guys coming from or does anybody know anything about them or is it just me?

It said that he forfeited his scholastic season to run unattached. Would you say it matched up he was entered early as an 8th grader doing 9th grade athletics?
NXN: Pro = Better field of athletes, Con = worse weather
Brooks: Pro = Better weather, Con = worse field of athletes
Though I suppose it could be debatable whether the caliber of the field is actually a pro or a con (maybe you're just happy to travel to a national meet with a better chance to finish in the top half of the field).
For a comparison of the fields, all NXR athletes are able to compete at all Brooks regionals aside from athletes in the Brooks West states (which has it's qualifier the same day as NXN) and Florida athletes (whose state meet was on the same day as NXR Southeast). It's notable that it used to only be Foot Locker Midwest and NXR South athletes that could do both (as you'll see, there isn't nearly as much overlap in other regions).
