He got on our charter bus after a big meet he/we ran in, probably by accident, but just sat down several seats back and started talking to the kids. I bet you couldnt get those kids to think he was uninteresting.

You can't say he is "only following the rules." We don't even know he is following the rules in paying foreigners via agents, but let's say that he is. The all-American coaches are also following the rules. David Smith is exploiting the rules to bring in older pros from outside the country. Why bother developing 18 year old Americans (which he obviously is fully capable of doing)? He realized he couldn't beat Mike Smith with the usual group of Americans and a few foreigners mixed in, so he went this route. They were so good he had his 7:38 American guy jog in place and wait to push until he needed him to move at 8k.
I think I have been put in Facebook detention for trolling 🧌 the Oklahoma State Cross Country sites today. For some strange reason I can't seem to answer all my credits. I mentioned how Dave Smith couldn't coach a rat to eat cheese 🧀. Now I can't seem to post anything. I'm still right about everything I said.
They are all clowns and just need to stfu. Ed Eyestone is the biggest clown of them all though. So tired of him denying using age cheats doesn’t help. It does.

So he is acting within the confines of the rules the NCAA set? Cool. The other coaches can’t do it as well as him.
I also saw Aliphine Tulliamuk speak out against the present system and how different it was when she came over as a Kenyan. I am yet to see one pro athlete or coach support what is presently going on in the NCAA Cross Country. if Dave’s goal is to make the sport more popular by creation a villain then he has been very successful.
It's a sport for rich, white kids or poor africans. Nothing will make racing more popular - the world of private equity and Ackman wannabe's will continue to flood charity chasers and 4 hour Alphafly wearing marathoners doing bi-carb though

You wouldn’t be complaining if they didn’t win. I agree that we need to change the rules but don’t get made at a coach following the rules and making the best team.
Do you need a rule to do the right thing? Especially when it's hurting your country.
