Women's 100 WR shouldn't be any less than 9-10% slower compared to men's. There must be some women out ther capable of 11:53, but are running marathons in 2:28 or so.
To be honest I think ultra running should stop at 100 kilometers because I don't think running for 24 hours is either desirable or healthy for any human being and it is not a good spectacle to the eye. I would not put trail running in the same category including races like UTMB because they are more like extreme endurance events over varied terrain, which ionically is more healthy overall for the body than just running on the flat for 24 hours which cannot be good for any human. If you compare so-called elite 24-hour runners with elite trail runners who do UTMB, there's a big difference which you will notice in favor of the trail runners. Look at a guy like Jim Walmsley - trail icon. He can still pop a 2:14:00 marathon, and could probably run a 4:15.00 mile at any time. No disrespect, but most of those 24 hour people are not really running, in the true sense of the word.
