    If you compare him to Grant Fisher at the same age, though, or factor in that he beat Nico Young at Worlds, scalped him several times in college, and seemed to enter Stanford pretty undertrained- he has a lot of promise.

    At least our Aussie runners have a little spice, some edge. Canadian runners are all just white bread with mayo. Boring and flavourless.

    Tiernan ran 2:08:08 at Boston in April, and a 2:07:45 PB at Houston in 2024 He competes professionally for the Puma team and is coached by Amy and Alistair Cragg. I believe he did fairly decent in Paris representing Australia as well.

    These are distance runners we’re talking about. Only Jakob or Josh Kerr are allowed to have personalities. Nuguse wears an earring now. That’s edgy in the distance running world.

    Morgan McDonald seems to the the hit Aussie of the moment, based on all the threads about him leaving OAC.

    He’s had a nice run with Puma Elite.
