None of my On shoes squeak however I have one pair of doc martens and one pair of Cole haan dress shoes that squeak quite loudly with every step. I don't care, it is an embarrassing, it just is what it is and I still wear them.
Steve Martin had an appropriate solution:
You know, a lot of people come to me and they say, "Steve, how can you
be so funny?" There's a secret to it, it's no big deal. Before I go out,
I put a slice of bologna in each of my shoes. So when I'm on stage, I
feel funny.
So, don't buy 'em. Problem solved. I am constantly amazed at people and their ability to be petty.
