Two things. First, Kipchoge was asked about Chepng'etich in an interveiw, and said this:
"It's a shame actually for people to break the rule in sport."
So he did call her out, but saying he "slammed" or "blasted" her makes it sound like he posted a rant to Instagram or something. What really happened is he said some antidoping boilerplate when asked directly in an interview.
Second, there's little I hate more about these doping threads than endless speculation and assumptions that athletes are dirty. We know Chepng'etich is a doper because she tested positive. Kipchoge, on the other hand, has never tested positive, has never had a whereabouts violation, has never had a "Jama Aden" incident or a receipt for EPO. And he's done all this during a 20-year career with biological passport, tons of in-competition tests all over the world, plus (too few, adimttedly) out-of-competition tests. His coach, Patrick Sang, has had some athletes test positive, but doesn't have a reputation as a "doping coach". And it's worth pointing out that Sang's other megastar athlete, Faith Kipyegon, has a lot in common with Kipchoge: years of consistent top performances without any sketchy stories or positive tests.
Now could Kipchoge still be doping? Of course he could be! It's not news to any of us that the doping system is imperfect, and Kenya in particular has had a lot of positive tests. But ask yourself this: is there any way to be a) Kenyan and b) a (former) world record holder and be LESS suspicious than Kipchoge? If not, then what are we even doing here?
Here's the basic compromise that most of us fans make (but not Coevett or ArmstrongLives). Support clean sport, more comprehensive testing, harsher bans, etc. If someone tests positive, treat their inevitable excuses very, very skeptically. Furthermore, there are certain activities that make us suspicious even without a positive test, like working with a coach who everyone knows dopes their athletes.
And for other athletes, those who don't test positive, don't run from the testers, and pass test after test over many years, we agree to suspend disbelief until something changes. This doesn't mean we'd be blindsided if it turns out the Kipchoge has been doping. It only means that until there is some direct evidence, we're willing to extend the benefit of the doubt. It's a compromise, but a necessary one, and better than pretending we know something we don't. Frankly, I don't see how anyone could be a fan of this or another sport any other way.
Every pro athlete dopes. Only dumb ones get caught.
No the truly talented east africans like moses mosop and geoffrey mutai and patrick makau didn't dope. even sammy wanjiru failed to dope. He just likes to have sex and beer parties but that's not doping. Maybe some weed on the side.
Google geoffrey mutai, greatest kenyan marathon who only reigned 4 short years without doping. As you can see the expiry date is 4 years for pro elite marathoner so why is kipchoge's expiry date 10 years in the marathon when he had more wear and tear from 2003-2013 doing track. He should have been gone by 2017 at most but he was only getting started how?
We should be fking him for cheating our sport. Do you mean to say geoffrey mutai and moses mosop were messing around in training and not professional. I dun think so, geoffrey was far more talented than fking kipchoge in the marathon and will never be any less disciplined and professional.

You are fking insane dude. How do you expect direct evidence when the evidence is screaming in your face. He reigned 10 years in the marathon for someone so untalented and hypocritical for the event. Geoffrey Mutai only reigned 4 years clean. Hope you have a modicum of sentience for common sense. You only got 4 years to make it, no more but can have less. Everything else is doping.
This thread and the article is bogus. He did not slam anyone. He was asked a question and he said "Its a shame ............"
Classic clickbait
Politely saying "It's a shame..." when questioned about another runner's doping, counts as "slamming" by Kenyan standards.
You are the guy who believe the east africans don't have a genetic advantage. They actually do but kipchoge is not a real talent. He can't even run up a hill properly compared to geoffrey mutai. If they are clean marathon talents they must show us they can go up and down hills effortlessly like tamirat tola and bekele, cheptegei and kiplimo.
kiplimo is so much more talented in the marathon and even he could only run 2:02:30. do we expect to believe kipchoge older and more fked up can run 2:01s every 2-3 years at 36-38?
Such news really hurts the credibility of athletics. Athletes like Kipchoge dedicate their lives to clean performance, so seeing others cheat damages the entire sport’s image.
She was surely following his advice that no human is limited but then when you do hit your limit, you got to try to push it somehow or the other, no?
that's very fked up saying. kipchoge dedicated his life to whoring for drugs and preaching strange ideals about buddhism. He seems obsessed with public professions of love for Steve Jobs who invented the smartphone RF weapon. But yet he is neither a buddhist nor a christian or islamist. And he has trouble moving his legs up the hills but yet seems to outrun everyone on flat roads? This is not normal and is very suspicious set of circumstances.
Hi twin! Are you my digital twin on LRC. I have a feeling we are the same person in different EEG patterns! You know how i always get a good laugh when kipchoge keeps giving us multiple verses from some esotoeric ancient religious manual to explain his success and longevity in the sport? only a fking cheater does that. he feels guilty and wants vindication from the guilt and so starts speaking in various faiths to clean up his guilt.
You think kiptum was clean? God finds him sex with multiple side chicks and beer rampage while in the thick of marathon training? No wonder he slammed the car into a tree. The moment you introduce a girl's quantum field into your biofield you are over and done. There was this really fak up soccer player lamine yamal only 18 and he got swell headed and start sleeping with a girl and almost immediately he lost all his aura and talent on the pitch. he moved different, dribbled less successfully, lost possession 3 times more often, got more impatient and confrontational on the pitch all because he allowed his quantum biofield to be invaded by some biatch. At 18, your only job is to eat, sleep and train, not f with girls.
Eliud Kipchoge has called out Ruth Chepngetich after the women's marathon world record holder was suspended after masking agents were found in her sample.
So, not even directed clearly at her, not exactly blasting anyone but then Kenyan runners do not tend to be intemperate in their language. What is a disgrace is that her world record stands.

An articulate, responsible post on LetsRun? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

yea it's fked up isn't it? as if she didn't dope for her wr race lol

i don't know why coevett calls kipchoge clean. he is dirty and all evidence points to it.
Why would you be down-voted at all? Everyone knows EK is simply a very high responder to EPO and/or whatever else his handlers were stuffing him with.
And he has no genetic talent. after 2003, his career just slid and he was very far from the level of bekele. he was just weak and he felt jealous of bekele's success and started using dope when he did the marathon. he badly wanted to be king
Kipchoge's development seems more realistic then Kevin Kiptum but we will never know with Kiptum.
Kipchoge has competed for like 20+ years at this point (5K gold in 2003 Worlds), I imagine something would have come out at this point. Honestly Conner Mantz, who I fully believe is clean, running a 2:04 makes me think it is possible to run a 2:01 clean.

Thank You!
But I stopped being an Eluid Kipchoge fan the day Kevin Kiptum died. Maybe Kipchoge or his camp had nothing to do with the tragedy but something in my opinion is odd....
