Extreme DEI to not have men be the primary focus in this meet. Fine for other countries, but DEI is now illegal in America. The meet director needs to be deported.
We are OK with ATHLOS being just for women because we are not incel losers. There are women in our lives, we like them and are happy to see them succeed, and we are not giant losers who need a finisher's medal for having an XY chromosome.
I like women. But I don’t know what that has to do with female only track, when there is no man only track.

Where were the protests outside Athlos? Who is going to organize the men’s only meet? Get to it!
In the last two decades or so, women's track has received full equity with their male counterparts. One could even argue that it's unbalanced, as up until this year, there was a significant amount of more money and scholarships spent on women's track and field in the collegiate system compared to men. On the pro level, most, if not all, shoe brands are more invested into femaled contracts than male contracts.
Why not allow men to compete at ATHLOS? It's discriminatory and there really isn't two ways about it.
Let the women have their own meet. As long as no trans freaks agitate to try and get into the competition so they can live their dream of prancing in front of a crowd while wearing bun-huggers, everything is fine.

Men - who still mostly rule the world and country, and live in an age of no more DEI - complaining about some women’s only meet that was streamed on YouTube and shown in a channel called Ion. Here’s a tiny violin for you.

Mindless Lib spotted! Calling out reverse discrimination must = incel?
Track and Field is letting itself get degraded to some old town square carneval type thing and you complain about sexism? Dude! The problem isn't that only women get to do it, the problem is that soon enough men will be forced to do it too as ever more arena meets disappear.
But... the Diamond League is already a traveling circus with low consistency. T&F might as well head down this new route, let us just make sure to have separate classes and shiny participation prices for bozos, bearded ladies and dancing bears while we're at it.
It's not even the only women-only event. There's a Continental Tour Silver meet in Greece that's happened for years that's women-only too. It focuses on all of the jumping events. This year was the 26th edition.

We know what it has to do with man-only track because our memories and/or educations are not deficient. Many events in distance running were man-only at the Olympic level until 1984 or later, with the women's steeplechase only added in 2008. We're OK with ATHLOS being just for women because we grasp the basic reality that women's athletics still has to deal with sexists who would be happy if it disappeared. If you talk to a woman who does not find you scary or creepy, she could probably explain the unfortunate but very basic fact that sexism exists.

There's a million hills you could choose to die on. A million causes you could invest your time and passion into. You'll be a better person if you make sure this is not one of them.

I think the OP is asking a reasonable question about equality and it is thought provoking and timely. This is more than just about women’s track and field.
Unfortunately, many of those opposed to looking deeper into this question cannot see beyond the headline.
Today, would we be fine with a meet of made up of just white men? The answer is an obvious no, but this doesn’t go far enough in washing away our complicit support of inequalities in all forms. Sure, are some worse than others? Yes. But all are wrong.
This ATHLOS meet is pure virtue signaling by its creators and those that support the meet. If you get right down to it, however, it’s wrong and we can do better.
Now that’s a hill worth dying on, even if it’s just for a little track meet.

My wife D2 All American xc runner does not see the point of an all woman's meet either.
If I ever win the lottery I'll just bankroll a men's league. Ive promised a lot of things on this website if I win the lottery hold me to it 😂
You won't be able to do that though, the SJW freaks will go crazy and will make sure the Dept of Justice goes after you until you shut down your mens-only meet. There's several types of discrimination that has basically been hardwired into American culture as ok but a men's only event is not one of them.

Seriously talking about it. It would be done in great taste. I have to make it about track but bring in brands/ companies that cater to men. Create a secondary appeal/purpose of the meet. Get a Rogaine lane, Hims lane, Manscape lane, etc. Try to partner with pro mens. Maybe a mental health lane for mens depression which is largely undiagnosed. Just spit balling ideas to make it viable.
