So literally almost no serious answers in this thread? Interesting. Apparently no one on letsrun makes anywhere near that amount or even closely knows anyone in that league. More evidence that this board is full of a bunch of basement dwellers.

I wouldn't have a clue how to meet a woman who found my income (or wealth) impressive. As multiple posters have pointed out, people who make 200k+ have social circles full of people who are as well off or better.
If you make that much and you're an outlier in your community, then you're likely out of your prime dating years.

I'm a scientist, 50s, make $210k, am 5'10" with no glaring flaws or deformities. I have a nice house with a pool, drive a nice car, travel in Europe every year or two. I don't notice any special interest from women, so I don't buy OP's theory.

I'm guessing there is nothing about you that exudes alpha energy. High iq nerdy-dork type, no offense. I have friends like you.

You need to be like Bill Bilichick: Multi-millionaire ($72m), status (head football coach North Carolina) & built big & solid (5'11" 200 lbs) = 24 yr old hottie.

How old are you? How old are the people you are trying to date? How social are you? How interesting are you? Are you creepy? Fun? Are there lots of single people of the appropriate gender where you live?
Dating success is not about taking a few numbers that define you and getting a datability-quotient shot out the other end ("square your height in inches, add your age, subtract 21, and then multiply by 500. Add this number to your net worth. If it's greater than 8 million, proceed to step 3. If less, have you considered an AI girlfriend?").
It doesn't work that way and it has never worked that way and people who think it does work that way are setting themselves up for disappointment.

We'll just have to wait for Steve the Addict to give us his take.
I’ll bite; currently work in finance and make good money in a large city. I am above average height but by no means a really good looking guy. I am legitimately surprised by how many women are attracted to me for my height alone / once they hear what I do for work (obviously not the women I want to attract). Talking with my other friends it does seem I get significantly more matches on apps due to the 6ft filtering.
Nonetheless, a lot of the dates I go on, the women make similar money or on track to make similar money (medical or law school students). I think if you’re interested in women who are smart and hardworking, your “status” is far less relevant. But don’t get me wrong, being able to have disposable income for nice dinners and a weekend getaway probably helps. Just my 2 cents.
Go anywhere in Latin America. Except maybe Medellin unless you want a woman who will steal your organs. 200k is probably 20x the average salary in most places.
I can take a crack a serious answer - I'm married now but spent ~5 years dating in NYC and Chicago making 200-300k/yr.
The most noticeable thing to me is that anyone that is interested in your work or finds the salary as a dating plus was always an immediate red flag to me. I work hard and had a couple of lucky breaks to get where I am but I'm under no illusion that it makes me an interesting person or good partner, that all comes from other stuff. The reality is that this pay in your 20s and 30s is a significant outlier and most of my peers that care about this stuff are obnoxious bores.
For sure good pay makes affording a fun lifestyle (travel, food, flexibility, etc) easier which in turn makes dating practicallyor functionally easier. But considering your own "status" or romantic value related to your salary will attract vapid people and if you pursue them you can enjoy a vapid life. Dating comes easy when you have a solid sense of self - your own style, your own preferences, and clear values that you follow. Being in spaces with people with similar interests (hardcore shows in my case) is what makes finding a good partner easy, in my experience.
Females are sometimes intimidated, some of the good ones latch on to loserville no matter what. Others are shallow. It's better to shun inquiries into income so you can get to know the person. Most people are fake.

This hits the nail on the head. First of all, earning low-six figures like $200k makes having a fun lifestyle easier, but you're by no means rich. You're not going to have trouble going on nice vacations, buying new cars, or living in an upper-middle-class area. But even $200k these days isn't enough to afford a really impressive house unless you live away from a big city. WSJ recently had a piece that said many families making roughly $200k-$400k feel more "upper middle class" (emphasis on "middle") than "upper class."
Second, as Chicago Tech Guy wrote, if you obsess over salary, you're not going to attract the right sort of people. And as other people have mentioned, the vast majority of people who make $200k work in professional jobs in big cities, where most of the people they interact with on a daily basis make as much if not more money than they do. A big law associate in NYC who pulls in $300k a year is going to be hanging out with... other big law associates, finance bros, etc. Bottom line is, forget about the money. Dating is about being an interesting, genuine human being who actually cares about others.

You didn't leave a serious answer either. Maybe you don't have one.
