Nope. Not when you are from one of the most corrupt doping countries in the world. And not held to the same doping constraints as other countries. Sorry, this is massively tainted.
I've said this before but I think Kipyegon and Chebet could 1-2 in every WR from 800 to half marathon. The perks of being a protected athlete.
I do not think her or Chebet could run sub 1:55. Chebet may not 1:56.
A 3:48 1500m runner can't run under 1:55 in the 800?? Man I need what you are smoking, that must be some great stuff. I ran with tons of 4:06/4:07 guys in the mile and they were all 1:52 guys.

So you're suggesting she is faster than Kratochvilova? And this despite her being a 1500/5k runner and not an 800 runner? The water in Kenya is pretty strong.

I go by science and data. The MAJORITY of 3:48/4:06 humans, can run run 1:52 in the 800. Have you never heard of Jack Daniels, Jimmy Gilbert, Glen Grant, etc. These guys spent years collecting large amounts of data from college and pro athletes to put together their performance charts. So yes, a 3:48/4:06 runner should be able to run 1:52 in the 800. If you are slower than 1:52, or at worst 1:53, you aren't FAST enough to run 3:48 or 4:06. It's called physiology. To your point, do drugs aid this? Of course they do. But on EPO or not, the performances still align.

So you're confirming what I said. You think she's over a second faster than Kratochvilova over 800, whose record still stands more than forty years later.
I'll give you an alternative reference point. Bannister, who ran 3:58-high for the mile, ran 1:52 for the half. Halberg ran 3:57-mid and he also was a 1:52 runner over the half. She doesn't get near them over the 1500/mile. She's a 4:07 miler. I doubt she gets below 1:56.
It really is exciting to see a real world demonstration of the efficacy of EPO when used by a high responder, once again proving wrong the naysayers who claim drugs don’t work! She is truly too big to ever be called on the carpet, no matter what actual tests may show! The Queen!
Bannister actually ran 1:50.7 for the 800 (don’t try to duck and convert to 880 lol) and 48.0 for a 440y relay leg (48 legs on numerous occassions). He just wasn’t serious about the 800 as his career progressed. No need to downplay how quick he was compared to most milers back in the day.
Faith is just so much better than the other women's 1500m that it's almost unfair. Kudos to her.
Agree with another poster that I'm not sure what was going on with Hull last few meters., drifting out and looking like she was ready to fall. You wouldn't think a 3:55 would get to her like that.

I've got thousands of other references of 4:06/1:52 runners. You are picking those examples? For example, if you want to go with one-offs, I was a 1:54 guy in HS. My 1600 PR was 4:11. If I could have run 4:06 I would have been 1:51-1:52. Yes, for your other part, I agree the current 800m WR holder was to the gills. I'm not arguing doping - yes they are doping - but to say a 4:06/3:48 runner can only run 1:56 is just absurd.

People see what they want to see. As I've stated many times, it is just absolutely astounding, that an entire website devoted to RUNNING, is filled with an insane amount of individuals who don't understand anything about...RUNNING. It's incredible.

I also actually trained and raced in my lifetime. I ran with great athletes in both HS and college. In college, for example, we had 8 guys who ran 4:00 or faster in the mile while I was there. What did they ALL have in common? They were 50s 400 guys and 1:50 800 guys. Every single one of them. That's not a coincidence. And guess what, those time perfectly aligned in the book Oxygen Power. I wonder why that would be?

Can I nominate this for dumbest post of the week? Friendly member, biological males are differen than females. Women get progresssively worse the shorter the distance when compared to men. How many HS boys can run under 14:00 for 5000? How many can run under 1:55?
