Also, did he just give a norwegian only interview then dip? How are we feeling about that?
Jakob fanboys have a double-standard for anything he does. And anything Kerr or Hocker do is automatically bad.
Hocker is pretty well respected I feel among Jakob fans. The guy does race fairly often, and he has a much better personality than Kerr. I haven’t really seen many Jakob fans hating on Hocker ever.

You mean besides calling Hocker's Olympic win a fluke, accusing him of doing drugs, and making fun of his hairstyle?

If Josh Kerr did the same thing, he would be getting raked over the coals on this board
I don't like Josh Kerr. But if he was out for 6 months due to an injury, and then had his season opener in a WC or Olympics with a 3:37.84 (with a 54.46 final lap) then I'd give him credit where his credit was due.
tbh I'd be glad he'd be racing at all in that case. Kerr especially only likes running when he's in good shape so seeing him do something like what Jakob did today would be a real nice change of character
Sybau, you know this is bs. Nobody wants to watch athletes dud (unless you're hate watching).
Jakob career is over. Someone cut his achilles in 2 before he does it to himself.

I don't think his career is over but if he doesn't just rest it and get it healed, it's going to go south real fast. I've had multiple achilles injuries and the last one I did nothing for 4-6 weeks, no running, no cross-training, no exercises. I came back very slowly and gradually built up mileage and never had a problem again. One thing I never did was try to "train through it" as that rarely works. Just my opinion.
He didn't know what kind of shape he was in, but respect for at least racing even if he's in horrible shape right now. (for him) I don't think he would do well in the 5k either, though he could make it to the final. To be honest, the best thing to do is probably to cut the season and just focus on recovering his achilles completely.
I really dont have anything against Jakob or Kerr or Hocker, Laros etcs...
But you really look as clown, non authentic "things" in middle/long distances.
