The law that the Trump administration is citing as giving him any power in this area does not even include the word "tariff."

If the Supreme Court has any legitimacy at all (doubtful), the Appeals Court ruling will be upheld.

Worse than that, Trump is using the tariff money (tax) as he pleases ... bypassing Congresses role of deciding what to spend it on, and the spending NOT not building an anti-American army in an attempt to create an unconstitutional dictatorship.

It will be interesting to see if Trumps many bizarre, crazy publicly stated reasons for the various tariffs get considered by the SCOTUS.

Even though a national “emergency” is the official claim for crapping on congressional authority on tariffs, Trump has made it clear that a national emergency plays no role in why he is implementing them. In most cases he is pulling reasons out of his azz for the various amounts.

SCOTUS will uphold this with a 5-2 vote. Uncle Tom dissenting to please King Trump and self-appointed Cardinal Alito claiming that tariffs are part of a great Judeo-Christian tradition and twisting some Bible verse mentioning taxes to suit his viewpoint.

Remember when Trump claimed Canadian Fentanyl crisis was the reason for those tariffs?

As hilarious as that was. It was even more comical that Trumpers believed it.

Trump is guilty of blatant mismanagement, plain and simple.

The tariffs that have already been collected may likely have to be returned. That will strike a serious blow to the US Treasury.

Deals and Agreements that have already been painstakingly negotiated and agreed upon will surely need to be re-negotiated.

All this because that fool in the White House does not have a clue.

The damage he is doing and continues to do to this country is nothing short of an abomination.

It is unfortunate that our system does not have a provision for a Vote of No Confidence like some other countries.

If the SCOTUS gives in to Trump, then they need to be "Pelican- briefed".

Democrats keep thinking they are going to win in court, and haven't yet.

The courts know this, and the lawyers know this, and they know which lower court to start with. Even when they know they will ultimately lose, they hope at least to gum up the works and stop things from happening.

The worst and most obvious part of it is, every legal professional knows what a cynical game this is, but they still call it justice and defend it. In fact it is a hopelessly bloated and corrupted bureaucracy and should be scrapped. The English way doesn't work.
