Hell yeah, Nikki! That was an impressive kick, looked like Linden Hall was out of reach until the last ~150 and to dip under 3:56 again. Impressive result!
if you thought hall was out of reach, you probably don't watch a lot of T&F.
Sinclaire Johnson's fall eliminated her from the DL final. She had a good shot of making it but 0 points today ends her chances. Hiltz qualified.
At least she didn't get hurt (apparently, since she finished). Haven't yet seen the replay enough to tell who caused it. Someone fell right in front of her.
Someone explain the resistance to a 2 month subscription to flo track for DL meets? I watched 3 field events concurrently with just stadium sound which is much more preferred than their doofus announcer that came in later covering womens pole vault. Once switched to world feed, it appears as good as peacock albeit the cost is a little higher. I have no intentions of continuing the subscription beyond the DL season.
For me, the issue is that flotrack is monopolistic and has made track and field less accessible than it has ever been, and less accessible than just about any other sport. So we do everything possible to hasten their demise. If that means that we have to wait an hour to watch replays on YouTube, it is a small price to pay. I could easily pay the $20, but I choose not to for that reason. I am also apt to forget to cancel subscriptions.
Fair enough, thanks. Im just trying it out this season since the only other option seems to be later viewing of specific races with no preview or post race commentary. Yup, changed world from reading results in news paper the next day to espn and Larry Rawson to less live coverage to streaming subscriptions. Maybe someday AI will bring us total recall as if we were actually there.

Looked like she tangled up with Freweyni Hailu who went down, and then it took out Sinclaire and Afonso behind her. It's frustrating they set these overly ambitious pace targets. Once Welteji withdrew, it was somewhat obvious nobody would want to go out faster than 62 outside of Hall.

From what I saw, Johnson got very close to Hailu and stutter-stepped, then fell. Hard to tell from the angle whether it was caused by Johnson creeping up too close to Hailu or from Hailu making a sudden slow down. Looked to me like a usual case of Rubbin's Racing with an unfortunate outcome
