Some would argue that the 250K for a school admin is a sweet deal because a company the size of the schools would make FAR more. So, yeah, let's slash property taxes and gut public schools. New private schools would have to fill the void and the people running the private schools will make a lot more BUT you'll never know because their private salaries won't be easily public. At least with public schools you knew what you were paying for and have a say at public meetings. In the coming private system, you'll be stuck as an individual -- seems powerful until it's not.
