I told y'all the Brits are dirty! Wonder what Lord Coeverup will say about this one? The Brits have been dirty for years. Seb Coe 1.41?? That's got to have been juiced. Thank God there is still one country producing clean athletes who do it the natural way - the good ole U S of A. Shelby is gonna win gold in Tokyo, just you see, and Hocker will blitz Kerr again with a sub 50 sec lap this time to break the WR in 3:24. And cheating Brits will go home devasted again when Max Burgin finishes last in the 800m final won by our young natural talent Cooper in 1:39!

A 16 year-old American just ran 1:42 and I'm fairly certain has never been tested. We all just suspend all critical faculties when it's the white boys of American track popping unbelievable performances.
Well USADA is also a joke. Wouldn't be surprised if USADA wasn't testing any minor.
if she were suspicious, it would be a bit strange for her to draw attention to the fact she has never been tested before.
Beyond that, I don't think it is particularly odd that a non-pro, who was 25th fastest in the UK for the 1500m last year and 47th fastest in the 800m, hasn't been tested.
The 25th best American last year was Sam Bush - she wasn't tested once by USADA last year according to their online lists (and with better PBs than Calvert).
Let's see these British athletes tested by AIU as much as the Kenyans. Start with M11 Track Club.
That was always El Keniano's argument. Every Kenyan doping positive was somehow increasing proof that the Brits were dirty.
The AIU test countries a lot who are not trusted to test their own athletes.
Kenya has hundreds of dopers getting caught.
No country is target tested by AIU to anywhere near the same degree as Kenya. It seems pretty clear by the lack of testing in GBR that they too cannot be trusted to test their own athletes.
GB is middle-of-the-pack for OOC testing I looked it up. UKAD averaging around 2.5 per athlete. But you’ve gotta note this athlete is off-the-radar and isn’t in the quota at this point. If you want to rage at a doping agency of a strong country it’s Jamaicas or Australias pathetic testing numbers.
Sarah Calvert beat Laura Muir and she had never been tested before! Is this normal at pro level?!
Athletes having been tested has never prevented any accusations, so what’s the difference?
Do you really not know?
Tested athletes can and do dope, yes of course, but have to respect the limits of the ABP and the glowing times of their EPO, HGH or roids. If they screw up the dosages, or go all out, they get in trouble if the tester comes at a bad time, see Shelburrito or Ruth.
Untested athletes can dope to the gills, and aren't in danger at all of getting caught. I bet both Shelburrito and Ruth would have loved to remain untested.

That’s all theory and there’s no data for difference in performance between unlimited doping and as much you can get away with. And we don’t know if the thread subject is even doping in the first place.

Athletics Kenya tries to catch their athletes. UKAD definitely does not. I got into an argument about Norwegian testing - it’s fuzzy now but they did prominent endurance athlete get popped, she got popped outside of Norway.
There was an article from the 2013 world champs where like 40% of people admitted to taking PEDs during their build up in an anonymous survey.
I always found that number fascinating because for me - if I’m taking drugs - I’m not admitting even anonymously bc I will question the anonymity. So the actual as much higher.

Kenyan athletes are getting popped all over the world.
Kenya at least has to make noises about 'trying to catch the cheats' because they know they're on thin ice.
The simple fact is that every Kenyan at the top level (and most going down the levels) is doping. The same can't be said of GB, Norway or any other predominantly white country that you believe is far worse than the hundreds upon hundreds of doping positives Kenya.
All countries have cheats, it's just clear that some are worse than others.
Calvert ran 4:04.33 in Belgium tonight, a 4 second PB but still 3 seconds off the standard (winner came home in 4:03). I hope she gets another shot in a sub-4 race. After winning the British trials, she deserves to go. Such a shame that she won't get into a DL, she could easily get dragged to the standard in Silesia

These people are literally retarded. 400+ distance running busts compared to near zero in five decades can't be explained by slightly higher testing rates in the last couple of years, and the only reason they are getting tested more (finally) is because they had so many busts and scandals previously. The ADAK didn't even exist until 2016, whilst the UK was the first or one of the first countries to introduce out-of-competition testing in the 1980's. Plus, you can test Kenyans 10 x the number of Brits, and it still wouldn't be as effective given that we know Kenyan testers take tea money bribes and inform athletes in advance of 'random tests', and that in any case, it is hard to turn up 'unannounced' at rural locations in Kenya.

That "Untested athletes can dope to the gills, and aren't in danger at all of getting caught." is not theory at all. That current athletes have to be careful is also fact. If Shelby and Ruth wouldn't have gotten tested, they wouldn't have gotten banned. That's obvious, isn't it?
As for the lack of data: just have a look at the various old, pre-ABP world records that lasted until the super shoes came, although doping never stopped. Some are still the WR, especially on the women's side.
