There was a time a few years ago when Mu was given a wild card to the DL final in Eugene and won the race over Keely. Keely was considered the DL champion though because Mu hadn't officially qualified.
Funny, I didn't believe this, so I checked.
For the 2023 DL final World Athletics offered some 'Global Wild Card' spots for top stars at the DL final on Eugene. Mu used hers well to run her pr and American record of 1:54.97.
As a wild card, she did not count in final DL placement.
I'm not sure if Zurich can still have local wild cards anymore for the 2025 DL final.
