He said something in his post race interview about having just come from altitude - he may be one of those people that responds well to altitude training. Nice to see him doing well, can't argue with a PB no matter where it places you.

I thought so too. I also thought he looked slightly leaner (though he's still far more heavily muscled than anyone else on the start line)
