I also think it's sad, almost ironic. Technically he died doing what he loved. We don't really know if he had any unexposed health issues he was hiding from the public. There's nobody over 80 that doesn't have health problems.
In no way is his death a positive thing, but at the same time it may have spared him from slowly going downhill or dying a painful death.
Looking at him, I think he was about 106.
